Spherical Thrust Roller Bearings
In spherical thrust roller bearings, as with spherical roller bearings, the raceway surface is spherical and centered on the bearing center axis. This type of bearing roller is spherical and therefore has a self-aligning function. It Is not sensitive to coaxially and deflection of the shaft. The spherical thrust roller bearing is roughly the same as the spherical roller bearings. Unlike other thrust bearings, spherical thrust roller bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in 1 direction and simultaneously working radial loads. The load is transmitted between the raceways via the rollers at an angle to the bearing axis while the flange guides the rollers. This type of bearing has a huge axial load capacity.
Spherical thrust roller bearings have 2 kinds of types, symmetric type, and asymmetric type. And bearing’s cage generally adopts a brass solid frame and stamping frame. Typically, the tear code of the cell is not marked when the approach assumes a solid brass cage, but the others should be marked with the corresponding rear code.

Applications of spherical thrust roller bearings
Spherical thrust roller bearings can carry load-bearing capacity, are low noise, durable, have low rolling resistance, are easy to replace and install, have well-sealed designs, multiple fixing methods are optional, etc. These features and benefits make spherical thrust roller bearings suitable for high dust environments. They even can work in Sub-Zero temperatures, which are mainly used in oil drilling RIGS, iron and steel machinery, hydraulic generators, vertical motors, propeller shafts for ships, tower cranes, extruders, etc.
